They are pressure treated to class 3 to ensure a longer life and to help resist rot and are carefully kiln dried to help reduce the risk of splitting or twisting. Wood, being a natural product with each piece being unique which may include spots, knots, pigments and small cracks. All of these are natural for a wood product. Each item is individually crafted with a light sanding to retaining that unique handcrafted appeal, making it ideal for both internal and external use.

The installation of our products is relatively straight forward and can be done with a limited amount of tools. Phillips head screwdriver and spirit level. Optional tools: Drill with 2.5mm drill bit and PH2 bit (Phillips head) In all cases, it is advisable to first drill a 2.5mm pilot hole. Timber frame catio installation were the wire mesh is on the outside / external. Both timber (fixed to side of vertical member) and metal brackets (fixed to front face of vertical member) can be used. Place the ladder section ends with the pre-drilled holes end to end.
Place the angle bracket underneath the ladder sections ensuring the large oval holes are underneath and the small oval holes are on the side.
Once in position, fix the brackets to the ladder sections with the screws provided.
(for the 300cm ladder, place the ladder sections end to end as per the numbers written on the end of each section).
